Birthdays and dinners

I was meaning to blog yesterday but I might as well wait till tonight's dinner was done with since it's both about birthdays, food and cakes.

Yesterday, we celebrated my 'jia poh's' birthday at Supertanker Restaurant with my aunts and cousins. As usual, had dinner and cake. Just now, we celebrated my dad's birthday at Equitorial Restaurant. Same thing, dinner and cake. Wow, way to gain some pounds, Joanna! 2 nights in a row. Gonna hit the gym tomorrow.

Jack bought this set of Cookie Monster stuff for me. Hahaha~ Now I have to figure out where I'm gonna display it. Need to clear up a space for it. I'm running out of space. Ugh, I can't imagine what is going to happen when the renovation starts. I'm looking forward for the renovation to start but I'm dreading the mess it's gonna cause.

Hmmm, what else. Oh, and I had a cammie session with my sister today. It was kinda laggy but it was good. Brought the laptop to the kitchen to show her the delicious cake and also brought it outside so that pebbles could see her mummy. Hahahaa~ Couldn't bring it to Bambam because the line wasn't strong enough. I guess that's all from me now. Toodles~

The other day, a friend of mine sent me a link in MSN messenger and asked me to watch it. Okay, so I did and guess what? It's stuck in my damn head! Literally!!! It's playing in my head right now, as we speak!!!!!!!!!!! Over and over and over again.

The song is called "The backing up song". The guys from schomoyo are famous for auto-tuning news and turn them into catchy songs. This 'backing up' song is definitely a catchy one. It is soooooo stuck in my head!! Ugh~~ And now i'm hungry, again! What's up with that. I just my dinner, cookies and some fruits. Why am I always hungry. Lol.

Next random topic. I hate my neighbor's friggin' dog. I wish that I could just kill it and stab it to death. Annoying piece of crap. I wasn't even bothering that piece of shit and it starts barking and growling at me. Hey, shut the fuck up MOFO. The dogs and its owners are crap.

Hahaha~ As I was blogging this post, I received a comment from another friend in Facebook. He said 'I hate you so much. That backing up song is stuck in my head'. HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!! See how addicting and contagious it is????? He is so annoyed by the song being stuck in his head. I'm out!!

Adele: Rise of the mummy review

So here's my take on this movie. As fierce as the title may sound, the movie is sort of the opposite of what you may have expected.

The title of the movie was suppose to be "The Extraordinary Adventures of Adele Blanc-Sec". I don't know why they would want to change it to Adele: Rise Of the Mummy. You might enter the movie hall expecting a Mummy series; which is of course not. This movie is based on a French comic book by French writer Jacques Tardi. The movie was dubbed into English, of course.

There was no pace if you ask me, and the plot was kinda weird. I think the original title suits the movie better as it was not all about mummies. It was Adele's journey, adventures and encounterments.

It's more of a comedic movie. For starters, mummies are from egypt, they should be speaking their egyptian language.Instead, they spoke british english; pretty formal british/posh english. Lol?

Anyway, I would rate it a 3/5. I can't even remember some parts of the movie. The ending was kinda sucky too.

It's halloween, people!

It's halloween. Everyone is going out clubbin'. I just came back from watching a movie called "Adelle: Rise of the mummy". Wasn't what I expected to be. It was more of a comedy.

Anyhus, went for a dinner cum birthday celebration with my gals last night at Texas. Had sisha and we were all high. Ong finally learned how to suck and blow! Hahahaha~~~ Kesiokan suda.

I got them a Victoria's Secret Lip Gloss pallete and 2 bottles of tiny liquor. Tee hee~ I hope they like it =X

Today I went to another class at Core Fitness called BodyPump. Ohemgee it was intense!!!! Lifting weights and stuff. Danny, the instructor said that 1st timers will have aching bodies the next day. I guess i'll be aching tomorrow. After a few more bodypumping lessons, I guess it should be better.

Jack had his hair cut today and he permed a little bit. It's nice. Tee hee. Love his new hair cut. Then again, I love whatever style he chooses to do with his hair :D

I feel so sore. No pain, no gain? Hahahah. I had a hard time washing my hair though. Meh~

Gym!

I registered myself to core fitness gym today with Emily and Valerie and we started working out right away. Oh em gee, I am so sore. The RPM cycling thingy was intense! My ass hurts, my vagina hurts and my legs are sore. Hahha...Anyway, lets see if there is any difference in 1 month.

Okay, so I bought this 'magic seed' for RM2 and planted it since Friday and there is still no sign of life. It was suppose to start growing the next day :( Why isn't mine growing? Not even a crack or whatever. Grow you stupid seed, GROW! When leaves start coming out, there's words written underneath it. That's what so special about it. There's hidden meessages. It starts off like a bean, and starts growing just like any plant. Awesome, right? Hahaha.

I hope I can get a good night sleep tonight. I don't wanna stay up like yesterday.
