The importance of details when it comes to decoration

A lot of people say that marriage marks the beginning of an entirely new life for a man and a woman. It is a bond entered by two accepting parties to honor and love each other until death, in sickness and in health, for richer or for poorer. Therefore, couples who plan of getting married pay extra attention on planning details and spend a considerable sum of money to have a memorable wedding. Some would like a solemn wedding, spending it only with few selected family members and friends while others would like to share their happiness with as many people in their lives as possible. There are also some weddings that would take about six months in preparation while others about a week. No matter how long the preparation is, what truly matters is the intensity of the commitment to honor the vows. How do you go through the details of wedding preparation? For my wedding, when it comes to decoration, I don't mind going through the tiny little details. From the wordings of the wedding favors to the church decoration. Sure, there's alot of things to do when you really look into the presentation of the decoration or the arrangement of the bouquets but it's a one in a lifetime thing, and everything needs to be distinct. Even the tiniest baby's breath in a whole bouquet of roses count. Creativity is what we aim for. We want to be different. I'm sure every couple has the same idea. As for the budget, I'm sure there's alot of substitute for the expensive things. I'm gonna D.I.Y all the way. Haha. With the help of friends and family of course. It's cheaper than going out asking for professional help(Which might turn out fugly and costs a foot and leg). I need to start with the wedding favors, bridesmaid outfits, decorations, flowers etc etc etc already. Once my sister is back from K.L, I'll slap her with my report and we'll start the designing, along with my bridesmaids of course. Hahaha~(If you are reading this, be prepared! :P:P:P) So, ya. I'm gonna go continue my research now. Tee hee. Ching chong ling long ting tong. **Joanna**

PANIC ATTACK

  1. Damn flu

  2. Can't stop sneezing, nose gonna fall off

  3. Hung out with my besties

  4. The Kenari is back

  5. Jack said he wanted to fetch me, so I did not drive

  6. Ong send me back home

  7. Need to use the back door

  8. Oh shit, no key. Oh wait, where is my phone? OH FUCK! In Ong's car!

  9. Panic, ran round. Knocked on gramma's window

  10. Gramma opened the door

  11. Grabbed the house phone, quickly called Ong

  12. She reached Lintas by the time I called her.

  13. She send my HP back to me

  14. Felt so bad :(

  15. Gonna belanja her makan

  16. Still feeling panicky now.............

I think he is gay......

As you know, my house is under renovation right now. Stuff are bound to be missing if left unattended; like jewellery, handphone, lappy. But, thank God those were not missing because we keep it locked in our room. However, one of the worker felt the need to steal something. Ah, yes. The toilet. Who locks the toilet when it's not in use, right? One of the worker, went into the toilet without our permission, and stole my brother's hair conditioner(I'm not sure if it's his or his girlfriends' conditioner). They are not suppose to use it because the way they use the toilet is MUY disgusting. Upon returning from work, my brother realized that the conditioner was missing. The same day that the worker went it. My brother got pissed and installed a lock that you can lock from the outside. LOL. Since that door will be coming down soon, why not. Hahaha. Then our maid told us this,:
"Saya rasa itu boy ambil oh. Saya nampak dia masuk tandas pakai itu gincu. Mungkin dia ambil, lepas itu simpan dalam beg dia sebab beg dia di atas sama dia. Lepas kerja kan, sebelum dia balik, dia kasih bersih tangan dia, letak losyen, bedak dan itu lipbalm. Macam pondan oh"

Hahaha! Who knew. That boy has a frizzy, explosive afro hair and I seriously couldn't imagine him to be a queer. His dad is also one of the workers here. Maybe he doesn't want his papi to find out, that's why he's doing hard labor. Lol.

Hunger~

The other night (I think it was Tuesday night? Or was it Monday, I don't remember), I woke up at 12.45am and had the urge to eat. I was soooo hungry! I thought to myself, "Meh, I'll eat in the morning". BUT, my stomach could not wait till morning. I was seriously starving until the point of insomnia. So I went downstairs to the kitchen, made myself Milo and grabbed a slice of bread and nom, nom, nom my way up to my room. After gobbling down that 1 slice of plain bread and my Milo, I waited for 15-20 minutes, then went back to bed. Slept soundly will morning. Great.

Oh, and I hung out with my besties, Valerie and Ong. It's been a while since we hung out with Val. We should go out more often D:

I'm using Jack's broadband to go online now. My friggin' streamyx is being an ass. I haven't called up TMnet yet. I'll call them up tomorrow and complain their assess. I couldn't access my streamyx since MONDAY!! Ugh.

My back is cramping. I want ice cream. >:D

Scavanging for food on a Saturday

It's another day for a eat-all-day day. Lol. One of my bestie, Emily Ong, fetched me at 1pm but we had to head back to her house first because she needs to grab her baby Lumix and send her brother home. After getting all that done, we headed to 1Borneo for our 'appetizer'. Started off with fries, then window-shopped and surveyed for watches to digest our food in order to stuff more into it. Haha. As we were about to leave 1Borneo for Coffee Bean, Ong suggested,:

"What about Secret Recipe cheesecakes?"

We diverted to Secret Recipe and had cake. She had the White Dark Chocolate Cheesecake and I had the White Chocolate Macadamia. Hahaha. We forgot about the main course. We had appetizers, and directly skipped to our sweets. After that, we headed home. On the way back to my place, she had Jay's song playing on her stereo. Bah, habisla. We were acting out in the car. Making weird hand movements and facial expressions. Hahaha~

Conclusion? Not enough food for our marathon. At night, I accompanied Jack for dinner at Upperstar Lintas. I didn't want to eat, but Jack forced me so I ordered Bruchetta. Oh so yummy :D After dinner, we went to Giant, Citymall to get some stuff; buckets, tissue rolls etc etc. I had to head back home early because I need to put my baby bro to sleep. My parents were out for some function/dinner/something. Lol. Here are some pictures I grabbed from Ong's blog. Nyehehe :D

Waiting for our cake

Jack called to check in on me

I hate PMS

I'm late again. I'm suppose to bleed on the 14th, but it's already the 17th. Meh, as long as it comes, I don't mind. The doctor said it's totally normal to be late when your body is 'unstable'. I hope it's coming because I've been PMS-ing alot. All ladies experience PMS(Premenstrual Syndrome). Every women is different and symptoms differ. As for me, when I'm PMS-ing, I get pissy, easily agitated, irritated, crying, depression, obssesive compulsive behavior, sensitive to loud shrilly noises, basically every single thing that gets in my way.

I, first of all, have killer PMS. I'm not sure why it's so bad. I get pissed off with everyone. At Jack, my grandma, mum, EVERYONE. I mean, it's always a thrilling fun adventure with roses and lollipops, but for PMS it's roses with giant thorns and lollipops with razorblades inside. I could annihilate everyone. No, seriously. No. Seriously. NO SERIOUSLY!! The only thing that could actually calm me down is putting on my earphones, turn on to 30 seconds to Mars and listen to loud rock music.

And this whole renovation thing with all the drilling and hacking and banging is not making things any easier. Just now, I was sitting here tap, tap, tapping away and the phone starts ringing. So I picked it up, and there was no one there. I hung up and started typing away and the effin' phone starts ringing again. I picked up and no one was there. I hung up, and the phone starts ringing but this time, I just left it to ring. Fuck it, i'm not going to answer it.

Usually when my grandma starts yelling for my mum, I'd just ignore it but when I'm PMS-ing, I start cursing out alone. I am so stressing myself out during this PMS phase. And everytime I PMS, Jack would annoy me with the same old thing.

"Don't think of so many things. Try not to PMS yourself. Control yourself"
Are you kidding me? How am I suppose to control my hormone levels?? If I could, I definitly would. If you can't handle my PMS, how the hell are you going to handle me when I have postpartum depression(I HOPE WITH ALL THE GRAIN OF SAND IN THE WORLD I WON'T GET IT). Geez. I just feel like biting and ripping of the head of the next person that annoys me or likely to throw a stapler at his/her head.
Men can also suffer from PMS too. It is actually called Irritable Male Syndrome, which has symptoms simular to PMS. Just like PMS, IMS may also happen when the male hormones are fluctuating such as testosterone. But I guess PMS is more dangerous than IMS? Tee hee~

However, when the phases passes, everything goes back to normal. Feelings aren't fact. Oh how mother nature love to eff' with us.

Kids start flirting at such young age. Haha

The title says it all. Lol. I was at this 'ngiu chap' kopitiam at Lintas with Jack yesterday. We had brekkie there after church. Okay, so there's this little boy, kinda cute, was sitting behind me. Well, all cute kids attract my eyeballs and are instantly burned into my cornea. Haha. Anyhus, I was smiling at that kid because he was cute and he was poking me with his chopsticks. After smiling, I turned my back and continued chatting away with Jack and the chef and his wife. Half way through, the kid was calling me by making clicking sounds with his tongue. I turned and he was winking at me and making kissy faces. OHMAGATZ. I was in shock. Everytime I turned my back, he would make that clicking sound and wink and make kissy faces. LOLLLL! The chef a.k.a 'ngiu lao' a.k.a Brandon laughed and said to Jack, "NAH...Your laopo kena flirt by a little boy suda..How la??Hahahahahaha". It was cute and freaky at the same time. I kinda ignore the little boy after a few flirting sessions but he kept on calling for my attention by making weird grunting noises. LOL.

Anyway, after brekkie, we headed to 1Borneo to get some home essentials. We bought ready-made curtains from Parkson Grand. We still have a long list to go. The panic attack is getting more and more...er...panicky? Lol. Jack has this birthday month coupon that entitles you a rm40 voucher if you spend more than rm200. We spent about rm300+ BUT he left his coupon at home. Since you only can claim that rm40 voucher in a single receipt and within the same day of purchase, we told the lady that we will be back at night to claim it.

At night, we had a casual birthday dinner; me mumzy's birthday. Tee hee. After dinner, Jack and I head to 1Borneo, AGAIN. Lol. After claiming the voucher, we head to Daiso and bought some more home essentials. With all the shopping done(so far), we head back to our future humble abode and arrange some stuff and slept at 1pm.

It's done! :D

Yay! I just went to collect my wedding card. It's done and it's awesome! Hahaha. I'm not gonna post pictures because I want it to be a surprise. Excited. Lol, I know there's still about 3-4 months time for me to distribute them to guests, but yeah, I'm excited!

Next up, PHOTOSHOOT!

8/3/2011 - Jack's Birthday

Woooo, Jack is 26 years old. Another year older. Hehehe. We went to this place called 'Sushi Tei' at Suria Sabah for dinner. Everyone is telling us 'It's nice. You should go try', 'It's really nice' etc etc etc. Well, to make it short, they were giving extremely good raves about that place.

So, we decided to go check it out. The place is quite pleasent. As for the food, not so much. The tempura literally tasted like FLOUR because, well, all I could taste was flour. Could hardly taste the prawn. It was kind of pricey, too. We ordered 2 plates of sushi, and 2 bowls(or bento?) of rice (Tempura and beef). Price? Rm68.95. The quality of food was AVERAGE despite all the advertising and stuff. My brother and his girlfriend went there for dinner too but they went a little bit late. They also didn't like the quality of food there. Meh. I'm not going back there, that's for sure. Maybe once in a blue moon.

Anyway, after dinner, we window shopped for a while then head back to Jack's place. Ate one of the 12 ginormous cookies I baked him. Surprisingly, it was nice. Hahahaha.

Amatuer seamstress

You know those old school bell-bottom jeans? And some that kinda make your legs look short and big? Well, i've got a couple of em. So, I decided to experiment a little with em'. I butchered my old jeans and turned them into shorts/cut-offs. Hahaha. Oops. Kinda rough at the edges but it's not that obvious and they fit fine. Well, it's better than to waste it. Here are the two jeans that I savagely butchered. LOLOLOLOL!!
