Excited!
Next week is CNY! But, I don't really have that CNY 'feel'. I haven't even started shopping for new clothes because I don't think there is need to do so. I might just get myself a red top. My sister will be back tomorrow and I will be going to KL on the 11th. Then, then, then, PHOTOSHOOT! Yay~~~ :D
So excited. Oh, so EXCITED!

Why are doggies/puppies nowadays so expensive? :(
- A golden retriever
- A miniature schanuzer
- Toy poodle
But, there are so expensive and sometimes hard to find. A golden retriever used to cost around rm1k+. Now, it cost rm4.5k!
A miniature schnauzer cost around rm1.5-rm2k+. It's cheaper to get it around K.L. It cost way more here in Sabah :(
A toy poodle costs around rm1.5 to rm2k above. It used to cost around rm1k but you can get it around K.L for rm600-rm800! Why!!! D:
I don't mind if it doesn't come with a microchip or whatever. As long as it's not mixed with any other breed and it's healthy, i'm good. Anyone selling puppies? Tee heeeee, sell em' to me at a reasonable price, please :D

1malaysia.com? What were they thinking!
News about 1malaysia.com going to replace facebook.com is buzzing around my facebook page. People are saying that facebook will be closed and won't be accessible to Malaysians and if they want to connect with people, they should register at 1malaysia.com. What? Is this true?
I don't think so. I mean, COME ON! The government will not ban us from using facebook, unless they wanna lose in the next election. I think this is another way to promote the 1malaysia concept. But, could they at least come up with something better than 1malaysia.com? The website looks boring and dull. It makes Friendster look cooler = o =;;;
When I first checked out the website, I was literally speechless. Not in awe, but in confusion. I was like, 'What the hell is this?'. It's totally selfish for them to ban us from going into facebook just for this website.
Anyway, I think those are just rumors spread by some smarty-pants.

The New Zodiac Sign Change
Well, in an interview with Professor Parke Kunkle of the Minnesota Planetarium Society opened his mouth and said the Zodiac had a problem with the dates and said that we’ve been leaving the constellation Ophiuchus (The Snake Annoyer) out of the equation. So, smart ol' Kunkle added them back in, told the world about it, and the brains of those who believe in astrology all exploded as we tried to figure out.
Astrologers who use the dates and positions dictated by Near Eastern astronomers hundreds of years before the Christian Era are well aware of it, and they don’t care. They’re not going to change the dates they use, and they’re not going to add a “13th sign” – Ophiuchus (November 29 to December 17) – to the Zodiac. I'm a Sagittarius and I am still one! So, stop fussing and run around in panic and changing your zodiac signs!
Wedding plans
Today, my parents and Jack's mum and himself had lunch together and discussed some of the wedding stuff as well. All the discussions are done, now it's time to plan the reception and church thingy.

Perfection and Pressure: Psych yourself
Nobody can be perfect, and besides, there is no "perfect" way of doing anything. I just do things and no longer try to do them perfectly.
If I’m not doing something as good as I’d like, or I’m having problems because of anxiety, I will calmly accept it (or at least try to). By trying harder and pressuring myself more to do things in an accurate and perfect way, I only make myself depressed, and I will actually hurt my well-being. I just do what I need to do, make my own decisions and realize there is no perfect way to do them, or no perfect way to feel.
There is only pressure if I put it on myself. Nothing is that important. It’s all small stuff (I think). If others object to it, who cares? There is no pressure because there is no exact right way to do things.
I can do whatever I want. I can always do whatever I want. Whatever the consequences, they won’t be that bad (how bad can it be?). There is no pressure because I can accept it if someone judges me to be nervous. There is no precise way to do things.
However, whenever I do something or however I act is OKAY. If I don’t do something a certain way, the consequences will always be something that I have to deal it. There is no pressure because I can do whatever I want. There is nothing I have to do. There is no exact right thing to do.
There is no pressure because other people’s opinions do not determine how I feel about myself or whether I am a worthy human being. If I want, I can just accept things and stare blankly into space and say nothing.
I am putting a great deal of pressure on myself by analyzing every situation for the perfect way to do it. When I feel pressured, It’s OKAY. I don’t have to be perfect. I am satisfied with my efforts.
My self esteem is not determined by how I perform at a certain task or whether others judge me as being intelligent, competent, fun to be around, or good-looking. There is no pressure because I can accept it if someone judges me. If someone judges me as a failure in a certain regard, I will be able to accept it, because I don’t need their approval to sustain my self esteem. My opinion of whether or not my work is good is more important than theirs. My opinion about whether my attitude is good is more important than anyone else’s. My comfort with how I carry myself and what I do is more important than anyone else’s. And there is no pressure because as a human being I have the right not to have to justify what I do.
I can accept the fact that sometimes I am nervous and anxious. Just because I don’t feel perfect, and sometimes experience more anxiety feelings than other people, doesn’t mean that I am less valuable as a person or that I should feel ashamed. I have some tough feelings to deal with but I will do things for my own enjoyment and growth and not for other people.

Messy, messy, messy
All our cars can't be parked inside, so we have to park it at the road side. It's so troublesome to move 5 cars in and out everyday. I also pity my doggies. They can't run around freely and get their exercise due to the construction.
Oh, and I just came back from Wisma Basel and some other places for the wedding. So many things to fill out. Geez~ No wonder they say that the bride transforms into Bridezilla. Hahaha! Anyway, I guess that's what Bridesmaids are for. Gonna show my dad the menu and stuff tonight and book the venue tomorrow. Need to look for a flowergirl :O And who's gonna be the ring bearer?? :O

4th Baby dumping in the last 2 weeks in Sabah?
Baby dumping is classified as murder and the guilty couple will be prosecuted. Maybe some of these young couples with raging hormones are the ones from the lower class family who can't afford condoms. Well, I think that is rubbish! If you wan condoms, you can get them for free from local hospitals. You have the nerves to dump a baby but you don't have the balls to go get yourself free condoms?
Another reason could be because the women could not get the men to put on contraceptive. All they could think of was pleasure and maximising pleasure.
Why resort to dumping a baby? If you already kept it for 7 months, go for the full 8 months and give it up for adoption. Some young ladies who come from the deeper parts of Sabah and come out to the city area to work, get themselves pregnant and are afraid that their parents back home would find out. So, they dump the baby and pretend that it never happened.
Some people blame it on the society, some blame it on the couples and their family, some blame the government. Who do you blame? Blame no one but yourself!

Anyway, there's this video that I've been watching over and over again. It's this SNL skit of Nicole 'Snooki' Polizzi from the Jersey Shore. It's freakin' hilarious. Here's the video:
I still get the giggles after watching it so many times.

Gulliver's Travels Review (It's actually literature)
And that’s when his rented 'ship', the “Knotferseil,” is sucked into a whirlpool and dropped, with Gulliver, in a land of English-accented Lilliputians(is that what you call them?), ruled by a king, queen, and a prissy princes(princess Mary) and an arrogant General Edward Edwardian, suitor to the princess.
There, he proves himself a hero, befriends Horatio; a commoner who's in love with Princess Mary, and proceeds to lie spectacularly about himself to the everyone, since, for once in his life, he's loved. But everything's in jeopardy when the princess' betrothed, General Edward starts to feel threatened and eventually betrays his kingdom.
Whether you'll enjoy this movie or not all boils down to how much you enjoy Jack Black's brand of humor. For those who consider him an irresistible jokester, this is a slightly better-than-average comedy with a bunch of pop culture references and that signature Jack Black comedy. Audiences who are not so into Black's charm may be less amused by this adaptation, but there are enough silly laughs, talented supporting actors, and broad sight gags (such as the fully made-up KISS band for the Guitar Hero) to make this a rather decent family pick.

Kim.K in the music business now?
Video from Youtube
Kim Kardashian has taken over television with her reality TV show and, ehem, sex tape, and now, MUSIC?? I'm actually a fan of Kim.K, but besides having a hot bod and gorgeous looks, I think that's about it. I think she has no talent in singing. She's the next Kesha or Paris Hilton(and please don't turn into one of them). I think her music fans are actually HER fans and are only interested in her and only her. Come to think of it, why am I interested in Kim.K? Reason: She's pretty and hot. That's it. I never knew who she was until the sex tape thing came out. Back then, she was living under Paris Hilton's shadow.
Kim gave a sneak peek of her single at TAO, Las Vegas and kicked off the new year by playing her music. Ngeh, I dunno. We'll just have to wait and see. Who knows she can actually make it, like Kesha *shudders*.
I think Kim should stick with fashion, modelling and her reality show.

Open burning: I frown and growl at it
Let’s face it. We can’t stop open burning from going on. No matter how many warnings or campaigns the government launches, there is still going to be people who openly burns their grass, rubbish, mother-in-law(oops), and more rubbish. And, I noticed that the majority of people who burns their rubbish are the elderly people and of course, the illegal immigrants. People have been reminded not to carry out open burning but, as expected, nobody gives a hoot about it. It’s the mentality of the people themselves.
And, of course, there will be people who will think the opposite. They might say :
“What should we do with the dried leaves then? Collect into heaps and let it become breeding gounds for rats, snakes and other pests? A little burning by your neighbours is not going to degrade the air. Just drive around the industrial areas and you can see large clouds of dirty and chemical-smelling smoke being release. Don't be selfish and unneighbourly.”
“Kenapa sibuk-sibuk sana?It is only one little fire, cannot hurt anybody. Friends must give face la.”
Firstly, there are alot of ecological ways to dispose of dried leaves. Rake and bag up the leaves instead of raking it up and burning it on the spot. Do your own research if you really care for the environment. Secondly, we care about our health and the health of our earth. Just because the guy next door is doing it, doesn’t mean that you can do it as well.
Baby who says 'No' to everything
I stumbled upon this video on youtube just today and I had to share it. It's this baby, who says no to everything her parents asked. I'm guessing her first words was 'No'. The baby is super cute with that cheeky grin of hers. She's saying 'No' like it's a 'Yes'. Hahaha. Enjoy.

The debate: Is a degree or diploma necessary to be successful in life?
It is a difficult and debatable thing to answer the statement that a person needs a university education to be successful in life. This is because success in life can mean different things to different people. It all comes down to how you define success. Some people say that success is attaining a degree, get a high paid job with that degree, or even get a professional job like a doctor or engineer. Others might define success as finding spritual happiness and finding peace with God and yourself.
I personally think that success is not governed by what grades or what level of education you have. To me, I view education as a personal fulfillment, not a way to seek future. Let's face it, in reality, not many uses what they learned in college. I respect people who obtained their PHD or Degrees, but I look up to the people who struggled and made their way up to the top WITHOUT that piece of paper. Grades don't determine how successful you can become.
I'll just name a few famous people who made it big without a college degree:
- Richard Branson: The owner of Virgin Airlines. Dropped out at the age of 16.
- Walt Disney: Dropped out at 16 as well and is the most influential animator.
- Simon Cowell: Started in a mailroom at a publishing company.
- Bill Gates: College drop out. Started the largest computer software.
- Mark Zuckerberg: College drop out and founder of Facebook.
So there you have it. This is my own personal opinion and I hope nobody gets offended. Each and everyone of us define success in their own unique way. Start small and it will eventually turn into a big thing.

Aulis Auto Annual Dinner(Sorry, no photos)
I didn't know what was Aulis Auto, until they gave an introduction. It's a company that produces and rebuilts heavy machinery. During the dinner, a slideshow presentation showed the companies vision and mission, background, activities and so on. The typical annual dinner agendas.
We didn't stayed till the end. I think we only had 4 dishes out of 8. We left after the fourth dish. Too may speeches and presentation. Haha. Besides, our table was getting empty because the people at our table left one by one.
I would love to show some photos but I did not bring my camera. I was pretty interested with the magic show by Kelvin Lee(or was it Kevin?). Haha, don't remember. Oh, and next to our table, there's this chubby little boy. Oh gosh, I was stalking him like a vulture. Damn, I sound like a pedophile. I just love kids, okay? Hahaha
We did not leave empty handed, though. They gave us a Sutera Harbour keychain thingy. Tee hee. Anyway, I guess that's it for now. I'm tired and I wanna go to sleep XD

What are your new year's resolution? How to make a new year's resolution that you will keep(Or at least try to)
Some of you might say, "Hold it. My goal isn't big enough to require and overhaul of my life". Maybe your goal is, let's say, clean out your shoe closet. But, this is not material for a New Years Resolution. This requires only a day to get it done. New Years Resolution requires daily work to accomplish and reach your goals. So here are a couple of ideas on how to meet your goals.
- Pick only one: We can each meet at least one or two resolutions in a year. We can't change a lot of bad behavior. The more resolutions we make, the less likely we are going to keep em'. Pick the one that means most to you. You might be pleasantly surprised that to find that changing one habit actually requires so many small changes in your life. You might also end up being able to change your habits because the patterns of your habits changes along the way.
- If you can't meet the goal, consider that it's not you, it's the goal: I spend a whole lot of times trying things out to help me find my main goals. I do this by jotting down things to understand oneself. Sometimes I write things down that annoys me and affects me. I try to learn from that but, merh, I repeat the mistakes overtime. Hahaha. However, writing things down helped me.
Anyway, one must think hard and clear before making a New Years Resolution. Setting a goal is much easier than keeping one.
